Discussing ethics in business and development

KATHMANDU, March 25: The Nepal team of World Forum for Ethics in Business (WFEB) launched a book about global ethical practices and initiatives in Nepal on Friday at Nepal Tourism Board in Exhibition Road. As pointed out by the WFEB Nepal publishing team, 'The Ethical Self & Business Ethics' is a souvenir book which was earlier launched at the Global Leadership Forum in New Delhi on March 13.

The book launch was followed by a panel of experts in different fields like development, the tourism and the hospitality industry talking about personal ethics as well as ethics in business, development, and tourism.Ambica Shrestha, CEO of Dwarika's Hotel, spoke about helping the youth of the country on the way to success. "I'm very impressed by young people who are so enthusiastic about the future. We, as their seniors, have to lead the way and give examples of ethical behavior and values. They are the future," she said.

Similarly, Dr Narayan Manandhar of Tribhuvan University pressed upon the importance of preparing the future generations of the country.

Ashish Chaulagain, one of the 60 participants of World Youth Forum organized by WFEB in 2014, shared that our belief in ethics is often broken down as young children as a result of different factors.
