KATHMANDU, June 3: Film director and artist Sudarshan Thapa has been arrested from Kathmandu.
According to the police, he was arrested on Monday in connection with the film 'Prasad 2' controversy.

Producers Sudarshan Basnet and Jack Shrestha have lodged a complaint of fraud and criminal treachery at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, against Thapa. The complaint, filed on July 26 last year, alleges that they were defrauded of Rs 15 million by the unauthorized screening of their film, both domestically and internationally.
