KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Sagar Dhakal has been elected as the president of the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal. He was elected during the 30th Annual General Meeting held on Friday.
Dhakal defeated Rajkumar Timilsina. According to the Election Committee, Dhakal received 45 votes, while Timilsina received 43 votes.

Similarly, Nitesh Agarwal has been elected as the vice-president, Bhaktiram Ghimire as the general secretary, Madan Poudel as the treasurer and Binay Regmi as the secretary. The vice-president, general secretary, and treasurer are also from Dhakal's panel. Krishna Giri, who contested for the secretary position from Dhakal's panel, was defeated.
Bishalkumar Agrawal, Jelina Kandel, Jayant Shrivastav and Priyanshu Agarwal have been elected as members of the executive committee.
