KATHMANDU, July 22: A large number of Hindu devotees especially women have thronged the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu from early morning today to worship on the first Monday of the holy month of Shrawan as per the Nepali calendar.
Hindu devotees visit the Pashupatinath temple to worship to Lord Shiva every Monday of this month to get their wishes fulfilled. They offer Bel leaves and holy water to Lord Shiva on the occasion. Devotees were seen queuing up to offer worships and prayers to Lord Shiva from early morning.

The entire month of Shrawan is considered to be auspicious to worship Lord Shiva and pray for good health, pleasure and good fortune.
