Bhutan’s King Wangchuck had arrived in Kathmandu on December 6 for a private visit. After offering prayers at Swayambhu and Bauddhanath, he had returned to Bhutan on the same day.

Sources said that after Bhutan’s King returned, a team of 13 people including his father-in-law and mother-in-law and home minister of Bhutan came to Kathmandu on Thursday. Their visit is strictly private and as it is an unofficial visit, normal escorting arrangements have been made on the travel route, as stated by a source at the foreign ministry.

The entourage is staying at Soaltee, Hyatt and Hotel Yak and Yeti.
