KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Defense Minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan has assured of full polls security and urged the people to take part in the tomorrow's elections confidently.
Speaking at a face-to-face programme organised by the Reporters' Club Nepal on the eve of the second phase election to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies today, the Defense Minister called on voters to visit the respective polling centers without any fear to exercise the franchise as a three-layer security cordon has been in place for the electoral purposes.

"Contract-based (temporary) and Nepali Police will guard the front line, the Armed Police Force will be there in the second layer and the Nepalese Army personnel will guard the third cordon," he said.
A total of 64 thousands NA personnel have been mobilised for the second phase of elections and they are authorized to fire if necessary, urging one and all not to indulge in untoward activities.
Nepal Bar Association president Sher Bahadur KC demanded the government heighten security arrangements to make the elections successful.
Civil Society leader Dr Sundarmani Dixit urged voters to use their self conscience while voting.
Nepal Government former secretary Diwakar Pant called on the people to enthusiastically participate in the twin elections which are very significant in course of implementation of the constitution.
