Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announce wedding date
Reminiscing the beautiful moments, during a brief interaction with a popular fashion magazine, Deepika said that finding a place that would feel private was the top priority. And they both love the water, so to be surrounded by water was important.
She further elaborated that they weren't keen on having a traditional wedding. There was a lot of temptation to move away from the traditional, especially for the two of them, who are constantly travelling, but it was important to her. Ranveer has always been okay with whatever. He has always said, whatever makes you happy makes her happy. But for her, it’s about wanting to do everything at the right time. It’s how she saw my parents do it, so she didn’t know any other way.
On being asked about not living together before marriage, Deepika averred that if she had started living together earlier, then what would they have discovered later on? That is how this year has been, living together and discovering each other. She likes to say that they made the best decision of their lives. She knows people are cynical about marriage, but that hasn’t been their experience. They believe in the institution, and they are enjoying every bit of it.
