KATHMANDU, March 9: The ruling Nepali Congress(NC) has said that it will make a decision whether to forge electoral alliance with coalition partners in the upcoming local level election only after completing the party's first phase of election campaign.
Addressing a press conference organized at the party's headquarters about the first phase of the election campaign of the party on Wednesday, NC Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka said that the party's Central Working Committee meeting will take a decision to this effect after the first phase of the election campaign is over.

"Nepali Congress will take a decision whether to forge an electoral alliance or contest the election alone through its Central Working Committee meeting," said Khadka. "We are going to people with our own party's perspective in the first phase."
Vice President Khadka said that the party's CWC meeting will take decisions based on people's popular opinion at the grassroots level.
