BHOJPUR, Feb 21: Date expired food stuffs worth around Rs 100,000 have been destroyed in Bhojpur district.

BHOJPUR, Feb 21: Date expired food stuffs worth around Rs 100,000 have been destroyed in Bhojpur district. 



The date expired food stuffs were collected from different shops at the district headquarters at the initiative of District Administration Office on Wednesday, said Assistant Chief District Officer, Upendra Neupane.

A huge quantity of date expired biscuits and soft drinks were seized in course of monitoring 29 shops including Pradhan Hotel, Sajina Grocery, KFC Hotel, Usha Hotel, Binita Hotel and Sumnima Guest House. 



Neupane said that action would be taken against the shop and hotel owners if date expired food stuffs are found again there in next market monitoring.
