Daraz launches Seller Sahayatri Program with Rs 5.5 million subsidies to support local SMEs

KATHMANDU, April 28: Daraz online has launched the Daraz Seller Sahayatri Program with a subsidy of Rs 5.5 million to minimize the impacts of the pandemic on small and medium enterprises in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, April 28: Daraz online has launched the Daraz Seller Sahayatri Program with a subsidy of Rs 5.5 million to minimize the impacts of the pandemic on small and medium enterprises in Nepal.


With this program in effect, the SMEs can now set up their digital ventures on Daraz online.

According to a press statement, the program is currently being implemented in all of Daraz’s operating countries and aims to reinvigorate the SMEs by providing a subsidy of nearly half a million US dollars with dedicated one-on-one support and access to free business consultation.


Also, under the program, Daraz Nepal has promised to charge 0% marketplace fees to SMEs on the sales made from the platform for the months of May and June 2020.
