Kaluuya, who played W’Kabi in 2018’s Black Panther, best friend to T’Challa (Black Panther) portrayed by late Chadwick Boseman, confirmed that he won’t be seen in the sequel due to scheduling conflicts with Jordan Peele’s movie ‘Nope’.

However, other actors from the original cast including Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett will be reprising their roles.

The sequel is set to premiere in November 2022.
