The flight service is to be resumed after Mayor of Tulsipur Sub-metropolis Ghanashyam Pandey and Summit Air CEO Manoj Karki signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Kathmandu on Thursday to that effect.

According to the agreement, flight service would be available twice a week on Sunday and Friday. As per the Memorandum of Understanding, there would be direct flight from Tulsipur to Kathmandu.

"The MoU was signed in a way to carry 16 passengers from Kathmandu to Dang and 18 from Dang to Kathmandu", Pandey shared.

For now the air fare for Dang-Kathmandu is Rs 6,600 and Kathmandu-Dang Rs 7,000. It may be reduced once there will be daily flight service.

The airport was constructed in 2016 BS.
