The organizations have also urged the government to ensure relief package and reconstruction of the destroyed settlement.

Similarly, a phase-wise struggle program has also been announced to pressure the government. The group is scheduled to submit a separate memorandum to the Chairman of the Interim Election Council, Home Ministry, Nepal Police, among others.

Likewise, the organization would organize a corner assembly in Pipariya VDC, where the incident took place and also stage protest in front of all District Administration Offices across the country.

A joint team of the government officials and representatives of Dalit organization would jointly visit the site and produce a detailed report in two days, said Chairman of the Nepal Dalit Human Rights Organization Sushil BK.

Around a dozen of Dalits in the village were attacked and their houses vandalized by high-caste locals. The locals had attacked the Dalits indiscriminately following a month-old dispute over the use of a local temple at Bhimdabar village in the VDC.
