Locals in the settlement are fearful due to increasing risk. They have been knocking at the door of the local authorities to help mitigate the risk but to no avail, shared another local Man Bahadur Sarki.

Sarki bemoaned that their communities' voices are least heard and they have been forced to live a hard life in the rural areas due to the apathy of the State.

The locals have urged the State to do the needful at the earliest to help prevent consequences caused due to soil erosion. RSS
