Addressing a function in the capital, Khanal said Dahal is entirely guided by the interests of his party and his personal ambitions. “He has no agenda to discuss with Indian leaders other than those relating to his own personal ambitions,” said Khanal.[break]
In a different context, Khanal said the present government can´t function not even a single day without support from the high-level political committee that comprises representatives from UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and United Madhesi Democratic Front.
In another function held at Ramkot village earlier in the morning, Khanal claimed that once the election is held and the results are out, one will need to light a torch to look for the UCPN (Maoist) in the country.
Khanal´s comments comes in reaction to the remarks of UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who had a couple of days ago claimed that the CPN-UML party was nowhere in the scene and that UCPN (Maoist) and the Nepali Congress (NC) were the only two major political forces in the country.
