Dahal responding queries in closed session today

HETAUDA, Feb 7: UCPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal is set to address the fifth day closed-door session of the seventh national congress of the party on Thursday.



In the closed session continued at the special hall of Hetauda Industrial Corridor, Chairperson Prachanda is scheduled to respond to the concerns and queries raised by party leaders and cadres, said party Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota.



Party leaders and cadres had heavily criticized the leadership for being failed to make clear stance on the issue of nationality and internalize the spirit of the People´s War and People´s Movement.



The general convention delegates also cautioned the party for being unable to check anarchy and irregularities within the party organization.



They also sought clarification from the party leadership regarding ignorance to the cadres who were part of the People´s War and high priority accorded to those joining the party later in the name of unity.



Asking whether the party is moving towards the path of becoming neo-UML, the cadres had made the leaders alert not to make attempts to confuse cadres again in the name of soclaist revolution.



Party Chairperson Prachadna is expected to deliver his views on overall issues in the closed session stated to kick off at 8.30 this morning.



It was informed that airing views by group leaders in the closed-door session was concluded on Wednesday. Some 63 team leaders had delivered the views of the groups on the occasion.



There were 50 delegates in each group for discussion.
