Addressing a function in the capital, Dahal, stating that new elections have become the country’s top priority, said everybody should refrain from doing anything that would negatively impact the holding of new elections. The Maoist party has been against the proposed new electoral laws that require candidates to submit details of their property and bars from running anybody convicted in serious crimes, among other things.
