KATHMANDU, May 3: CPN (Maoist center) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal has expressed his dissatisfaction on the cut-off public holidays. He stressed that he will talk with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to revise the cut-off public holidays.
During the meeting with representatives of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NFIN) Chair Dahal stated that the decision of cut-off public holidays without consultation with concerned communities creates a problem.

UML chair KP Sharma Oli-led government on March 28 decided to cut-off 12 public holidays effective this new year. NFIN representatives on Thursday monring reacheda Dahal's residence, Khumaltar, and urged him to take the initiative in restoring the cut-off public holidays.
They asked Chair Dahal for support to revise the cut-off cultural public holidays. In a positive response, Dahal said that the issues of indigenous nationalities are associated with Maoist revolution.
He said, "The public holidays cut-off without any consultation is the issues to be discussed. So I will raise this issue."
Representatives of NFIN have complained that PM Oli has rejected to meet them to discuss this issue.
