Issuing a press statement on behalf of the party's central committee on Wednesday, Dahal also appealed the agitating parties to make their protest peaceful. "We appeal the protesting parties to maintain caution about tendency of anti-national and anti-regional elements causing anarchy to take benefit by accusing the Madheshi communities who are in the forefront of patriotic feelings," reads the statement.
In the statement, Maoist chief Dahal also urge the government and major political parties to seek solution of the Tarai crisis through dialogue without any delay. "With government and major political parties focusing on talks, agitating forces needs to join the talks for addressing their genuine demands by adopting the achievements brought by the constitution," Dahal said in the statement.
Stressing on the need of institutionalizing federal democratic republic, secularism, proportional representation, and social justice achieved through the new constitution, UCPN (Maoist) has demanded intensive effort for the talks with protesting Madheshi and Tharu communities.
The party has also clarified that it would be struggling for the rights of labors, peasants, women, indigenous, Dalits, Madheshi, Muslims, Tharu and other marginalized communities in the future. Expressing grief on the demise of people during the protests across the country and worried about the economic stalemate, the party has sought immediate solutions of the crisis in the country.
Meanwhile the UCPN (Maoist) has summoned a joint meeting of the party's central committee members, former central committee members and district in charge for Sunday.
