Cricketer Lamicchane warns to disclose names of those involved in conspiracy against him

KATHMANDU, May 2: Sandeep Lamichhane, a former captain of the Nepali cricket team, who was convicted in a rape case by the District Court, Kathmandu, has issued a warning to disclose the names of those involved in the conspiracy against him.


Lamichhane, found guilty in the rape case by the District Court, Kathmandu, took to his Facebook account to issue the warning, stating that he will soon unveil the identities of all individuals involved in plotting against him.

In his Facebook post, Lamichhane stated, "I respect the laws and order of the respective courts but I promise everyone to reveal the names of each and every single individual who played their roles in this conspiracy very soon including everyone who is involved in the case."


“I refrained myself from long to post. I have no doubt that I am a victim of conspiracy. May God bless them all who played their roles in this conspiracy. I leave everything up to God. Time will tell the truth unless revealed,” his post further reads. 


Lamichhane has filed a writ petition at the Patan High Court challenging the district court's verdict. However, his case is yet to be heard.
