COVID-19 patient dies in Dharan

DHARAN, Sept 6: A COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) died on Sunday.

DHARAN, Sept 6: A COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) died on Sunday.


A 39 years old woman from Kankai Municipality-3 of Jhapa district succumbed to COVID-19 at 10:45 am, according to spokesperson for BPKIHS, Dr Nidesh Sapkota.

“From the beginning of her treatment, she was on a ventilator,” said Sapkota.


The deceased was admitted to BPKIHS on September 3 and tested positive for the virus on the same day. She was suffering from various chronic diseases for the past two years.
