KATHMANDU, July 9: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a case at the Special Court today against eight people, including Bishnu Bahadur Shahi, the chief administrative officer of Changkheli Rural Municipality of Humla.
The Commission filed cases against the Chief Administrative Officer Shahi, the Chairman, the Consumer Committee President, and others for alleged corruption in the funds received under the Prime Minister's Employment Program for the construction of water tanks.

Devi Prasad Thapaliya, assistant spokesperson for the CIAA, said that a case has been filed demanding a fine of Rs 648,000 against Chief Administrative Officer Shahi, Engineer Man Bahadur Aidy, Technical Assistant Gobhardhan Bohora, Accountant Nabin Regmi, Ward President Harihar Upadhyaya of Changkheli Rural Municipality-2, Chairman of Devkota ward Drinking Water Tank Construction Consumer Committee Gopal Bishwokarma, Secretary Prabhav Lal Jaishi and Treasurer Nanda Devi Devkota.
