KATHMANDU, June 8: A policeman, who was injured in a motorcycle accident at Koteshwor on Sunday, died Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bal Kumar Karna, according to the Police Headquarters. Karna was posted at Metropolitan Police Circle at Jagati in Bhaktapur. He died while undergoing treatment at Civil Service Hospital.
Similarly, another policeman Man Bahadur Mahato, who was injured in the same accident, is receiving medical treatment at the same hospital.
Similarly, two other police persons— Mandip Kumar Patel and Bikas Sapkota—who were deployed from the Police Sector, Koteshwor soon after getting information about the road accident, were injured in a road accident when a motorcycle heading towards Jadibuti from Koteshwor hit them.
The motorcyclist Ramesh Kumar Shahi of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, was also injured in the incident. They are undergoing treatment at Civil Service Hospital. RSS
