CIAA had formed a probe team to investigate into irregularities in the construction of the building that had developed cracks soon after construction.[break]
The building had been constructed at the cost of Rs 4,500,000. According to CIAA Secretary Bhagwati Prasad Kaphley the contractor has apologized for the poor construction.
He said that the contractor has promised to demolish the cracked wall and beam and construct a new one. The CIAA had sent a team for investigation after Republica published news about the defective construction last week.
The report submitted by the CIAA team states that the cracked wall is not connected to the beam and may collapse any time.
