Construction of two motorable bridges benefit over 4,000 households

TANAHUN, Dec 29: Construction of two motorable bridges in Tanahun district has directly benefited almost 16,000 people of 4,000 plus households there.

TANAHUN, Dec 29: Construction of two motorable bridges in Tanahun district has directly benefited almost 16,000 people of 4,000 plus households there.  


The Infrastructure Development Office in Tanahun said that the bridges were built over Mygdekhola linking the wards no. 4 and 7 of Myagde Rural Municipality and over Buldikhola at Sera of Vyas Municipality in the district. Both the bridges were completed in the current Fiscal Year.

The Myagdekhola bridge was built by Mai Construction and Builders Company with the investment of Rs 14.1 million while the construction cost of the Buldhikhola bridge exceeded Rs 31.2 million. The Buldhikhola bridge was constructed by Mai-DS JV Company and was completed before the given deadline. 


Constructed with the financial assistance from the Swiss Government, the local residents are elated as they now get good road access to supply their local produce to the market.
