Likewise, Central region defeated Mid Western region 2-1 to gain their second consecutive victory. Sujan Limbu and Jagjit Shrestha scored a goal each for the winners while Ritesh Thapa scored a goal for the Mid Western team.
ANFA U-16 defeated Far Western region 2-1 in another match played at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato.
In women´s football, Central region, PLA ´blue´ and Far Western region won their respective matches while PLA ´red´ and Eastern region played a goalless draw at the ANFA Complex.
In men´s volleyball, Far Western region gained two consecutive victories on Sunday. Far Western defeated Eastern region 25-12, 21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-13 and PLA ´red´ 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 27-25. PLA ´red suffered double blows as WMMC defeated them 25-22, 25-17, 25-15, 25-8.
Mid Western region defeated Eastern region while they lost to PLA ´red´ in women´s volleyball matches held at the Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center on Sunday.
