KATHMANDU, May 11: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has stated that the connectivity is a significant factor for the prosperity of both countries. 


Addressing a joint press conference organized at Dwarika's Hotel on Friday evening, Indian PM Modi said that Indian PM Modi said that to enhance connectivity in various sectors is a most important factor for the prosperity of both countries.

'India and Nepal are connected since centuries through rivers and Himalayas', Modi said, "Now the time is to extend connectivity to achieve goals of prosperity through roads, railways, power transmission lines, oil pipelines."


Modi further added that the both PMs have a converging vision towards greater prosperity. Modi viewed to furthering cooperation in the health sector stating, 'India stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Nepal.'


He said that it is a new momentum to a time-tested bond.
