According to Coordinator of the Committee, Surya Bahadur Ghimire, among the participants, heath condition of Tayam Prasad Niraula (Okhaldhunga) is deteriorating from Wednesday evening. The hunger strike was started four days ago. [break]
Ghimire further said Niraula is suffering from fever and seems very tired. Problem has been created as no medicine could be given without eating food.
Members of the Conflict Victim Army-Police, Raj Kumar Kamati (Siraha), Somraj Gautam (Kailali), Dinesh Kumar Singh (Sarlahi), Tayam Prasad Niroula (Okhaldhunga) and Pradeep Dahal (Kavre) have been participating in the hunger strike started by the committee.
The committee has staged the hunger strike demanding to provide compensation of Rs. 500,000 for each displaced from job and homeless families due to conflict and to provide Rs. 15,000 allowance per month to the displaced until they are reinstated in jobs after collection of record of the displaced from the jobs.
