Four vehicles collide in Pepsicola, 14 injured

KATHMANDU, Sep 3: A collision involving four vehicles in Pepsicola, Kathmandu, this morning resulted in injuries to 14 people. The Kathmandu District Police Range reported that the accident occurred in Pepsicola, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32.

KATHMANDU, Sep 3: A collision involving four vehicles in Pepsicola, Kathmandu, this morning resulted in injuries to 14 people. The Kathmandu District Police Range reported that the accident occurred in Pepsicola, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32.


The incident involved a bus with registration number Ba 3 Kha 4848, en route to Pepsicola from Jadibuti, colliding with a Bolero Jeep bearing registration number Ba 6 Cha 5342, a motorcycle identified as Bagmati Province-02-041 Pa 4838, and a scooter with registration number Bagmati Pradesh No. 02-037 Pa 5311, which were traveling in the opposite direction.

Among the injured victims of the accident, eight men are currently receiving treatment at Motherland Hospital, while four women and two men are undergoing medical care at the Civil Hospital.


The bus driver, identified as 24-year-old Janak Raut, a resident of Ramechhap Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-2, currently residing in Pepsicola, has been detained by the police for further investigation into the incident.
