Collection of children’s stories, ‘Poleko Makkai’ out now

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Shree Ram Rai, a writer who has been established in Nepali literature from Khotang and is currently practicing literary journalism in Kathmandu, has recently brought another collection of children's stories named Poleko Makai' in the market.

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Shree Ram Rai, a writer who has been established in Nepali literature from Khotang and is currently practicing literary journalism in Kathmandu, has recently brought another collection of children's stories named Poleko Makai in the market.


Published by Books Himalaya, Rai's second collection of children's stories consists of seven stories including Muna ko Abhiyan, Ful Fulun, Chari Udun and Buwa ko SMS which focus on child psychology.

While the book is edited by Ganga Karmacharya Poudel, it includes the art work of Raj Kumar Prajapati. Himalaya Map House Pvt Ltd has managed the market of ‘Poleko Makai’. According to Rai, he has tried to present the subject matter of the hilly region in an interesting way in his stories, which will be useful for all school level students.


Besides this, he has published a children's book named Toli Ka Neta (2074) and short stories collection named Aaja Ka Laghu Katha (2074).


The book is priced at Rs 99.
