KATHMANDU, May 8: Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has welcomed the withdrawal of Maoist indefinite strike.

Issuing a press statement on Saturday, CNI has also urged all to initiate the process for seeking solution to existing problems seen in the country through common consensus and common understanding.

Stating that the competitive strength of Nepali industrial sector has been plagued by frequent strikes, labour unrest, load-shedding and liquidity crunch, CNI has also urged all political parties, their sister organisation and common public to exercise restraint and common understanding to bring the ongoing peace process to a logical end.
