CNI meets Nepal's economic counselor to India

REPUBLICA, Aug 24: The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) organized a meeting with Nepal's newly appointed economic counselor to India, Nita Pokhrel Aryal, on Friday to discuss ways of promoting business and economic relations with India.

REPUBLICA, Aug 24: The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) organized a meeting with Nepal's newly appointed economic counselor to India, Nita Pokhrel Aryal, on Friday to discuss ways of promoting business and economic relations with India.


Ways of increasing bilateral business of both countries were also discussed at the meeting. The CNI also congratulated Aryal for her new appointment.

At the meeting, CNI President Satish Kumar Moore said that the decision of the Indian government to accredit the testing done at Nepal Food and Feed Reference Laboratory was a welcome move. "This decision will promote Nepal's exports," said Moore.


On the occasion, Khanal said that during her tenure, she will be committed to working toward easing the trade of Nepali products in India.
