KATHMANDU, Nov 16: As many as 25 models flaunted exquisite diamond jewelries at the two-day fashion show put together by Classic Diamond Jewelers Pvt Ltd at Heritage Garden, Sanepa.
This was Classic’s fourth fashion show where altogether 24 national and international models walked the ramp to showcase its Elite Collection 2017. The show had three sequences themed ‘Cocktail’, ‘Gown’ and ‘Bridal’ with musical performances by Sur Sudha and Jyapu Samaj in between the sequences. Among the models who walked the ramp were some known faces like Miss Nepal 2016 Asmi Shrestha, actress Paramita RL Rana and international transgender model Anjali Lama (of Nepali origin).
‘Mrs Nepal Glam’ kicks off
The sequences were choreographed by Rehan Shah while the show was conducted by Supriya Tuladhar. The models for the show were groomed by Suman Lama. The show came to an end when actress Manisha Koirala gracing the ramp as the showstopper. “She is a symbol of success and no Nepali actress has achieved that level of name and fame as of yet. It is only right for Manisha to be the showstopper as we want Classic’s collection to get international exposure as well,” said Samir Maharjan, executive director of Classic Diamonds.
In the previous editions, veteran bollywood actor Zeenat Aman, actors Minisha Lamba and Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen had walked the runway as celebrity showstoppers for Classic Diamond Jewelry Fashion Show in 2010, 2011, and 2014, respectively.
