According to officials of CIT -- the issue manager of the UTKHPL's initial public offering, altogether 25,416,000 units of shares have been allotted to 208,041 applicants.Issuing a statement on Friday, CIT said 18,299,520 units of shares have been allotted to 191,959 depositors of Employment Provident Fund (EPF) and 4,066,560 units of share to 9,754 employees of UTKHPL and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). Likewise, 914,976 units of share have been allotted to 5,550 employees of Nepal Telecom Company Limited and 1,524,960 units to 480 employees of Employees Provident Fund (EPF). Similarly, 191 employees of Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS) and 107 investors of Citizen Investment Trust will get 304,992 units of shares each.
CIT officials say applicants applying for share worth Rs 5,000 have been allotted 50 units of shares. However, those applying for shares worth Rs 500,000 have been allotted only 293 units.
UTKHPL had opened IPO for depositors and employees of EPF and employees of NEA, UTKHPL, NT, CIT and RBS on February 24.
