The party has been demanding that the government implement the past nine-point pact with the party.
"The government led by Girija Prasad Koirala had agreed to grant us a separate province," Chairman Badri Neupane added, "However, the pact has not been reflected in the present constitution."
The chairman also said that his party is staging demonstration demanding implementation of the past pact, scrap Indian blockade, maintain communal harmony and protect national sovereignty and integrity, among others.
The party is committed to maintain communal harmony in the region during the protest, he added.
