KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Chinese State Councilor and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe, who is on a one-day working visit to Nepal, called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter's official residence in Shitwal Niwas on Sunday.
President Bhandari admired the northern neighbor for respecting Nepal’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence. She also expressed her confidence that the visit will help further strengthen the age-long ties between the two neighbors.
Nepal’s senior government officials and the Chinese delegation members, including the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi, were present at the meeting.
