Chief Minister Shahi urges everyone to provide accurate details for census

SURKHET, Nov 11: Karnali Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has requested everyone to help the enumerators by providing correct details for the 12th National Census. Inaugurating the work of collecting data for census on Thursday, Chief Minister Shahi said that it would be easy for the government to make plans and programs only if the correct data is provided by the citizens.

SURKHET, Nov 11: Karnali Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has requested everyone to help the enumerators by providing correct details for the 12th National Census. Inaugurating the work of collecting data for census on Thursday, Chief Minister Shahi said that it would be easy for the government to make plans and programs only if the correct data is provided by the citizens.


“This time, the census is not only for counting the population, but the collected data will also be used for planning development works,” said Chief Minister Shahi. “Therefore, I would like to appeal to everyone to help in the development and prosperity of Karnali by providing the correct details in this census.”

“The provincial government will formulate policies and programs for the people belonging to different castes, religious communities, women or people with different abilities based on the data collected for the census,” Shahi added. He also urged people to be friendly to the enumerators mobilized to collect data for the census.


Similarly, Chief Minister Shahi assured that as the collected data will be kept confidential, no one should hesitate to provide the accurate data to the enumerators.
