Channing Tatum on ‘Dog,’ ‘Magic Mike,’ Marvel and his hiatus
Actor Channing Tatum is set to star in and produce Paramount Pictures' drama "Soundtrack of Silence".
According to Variety, Tatum will produce the project through his banner Free Association.
He will reteam with Temple Hill, the producers of his 2010 drama "Dear John".
Jamie Linden has penned the film, which is is based on "the KQED story about Matt Hay, a sophomore in college who is losing his hearing and wants to capture the sounds that are slipping away, including the songs and soundtrack of his youth. That has the young man listening to music with a new appreciation as he develops a silent soundtrack in his head and deeper love for his girlfriend."
Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Marty Bowen, Isaac Klausner and John Fischer are also attached as producers.
A director is yet to be roped in for the project.
