KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Changunarayan Municipality recently introduced an initiative to solve the problems of Nepal Engineering College (NEC), Bhaktapur.
The discussion was held at the meeting hall of the municipality in presence of municipality administrators, and five representatives from the college management.

However, the meeting was rejected by coordinators demanding the privatization of the college by transforming it into a non-profit social organization.
Prof Dr Dipak Bhattarai, and Hariprasad Pandey, the founding members of the college made their remarks about the functioning of the college in the future.
