What not to do during silent period?
Seeking support and cooperation from all bodies concerned in setting up polling centres, he said employees were really contributing a lot to make the elections successful despite geographical remoteness and adverse weather in some mountainous districts.
He urged the people to take part in the voting with patience and encourage each others for so, he said voters' enthusiastic participation was expected in the coming elections as in the recent local level elections. The Chief Election Commissioner took the time to direct security personnel deputed in the election to remain alert to untoward threats and ensure security to all voters, political leaders and candidates.
