CDO directs authorities concerned to fill potholes on the road within 24 hours

BHAKTAPUR, Oct 11: Chief District Officer (CDO) of Bhaktapur, Rudra Devi Sharma has instructed the authorities concerned to fill the potholes of the main and auxiliary roads of the district within 24 hours. She has given such instructions so that passengers would not have to face difficulties such as traffic jams and accidents due to potholes during the festive season.

BHAKTAPUR, Oct 11: Chief District Officer (CDO) of Bhaktapur, Rudra Devi Sharma has instructed the authorities concerned to fill the potholes of the main and auxiliary roads of the district within 24 hours. She has given such instructions so that passengers would not have to face difficulties such as traffic jams and accidents due to potholes during the festive season.


During the discussion, CDO Sharma directed authorities concerned to complete the construction of Nagarkot road immediately and make the Nikosera road of Madhyapur Thimi operationable by filling the potholes. Stating that she had seen the condition of most of the roads in the district, she has instructed the concerned bodies to work in such a way that no complaints will be filed by the public.

Similarly, there was also discussion about the risk of accidents increased due to non-removal of electricity poles, loose cable and internet wires, lack of streetlights, and using the road as a parking area.


Likewise, a command center has been formed under the coordination of Chief District Officer Sharma with Chief Advisor of District Coordination Committee, Assistant Chief District Officer, Member Secretary and heads of various road projects in the district, heads of all four security agencies and chief administrative chief of the municipality.
