According to a press statement, the theme of the conference has been set as ´Engineering, Science and Technology for a Better Living´. The main focus of the conference is to bring researchers, professionals, policy makers, aid-organizations, industry leaders, entrepreneurs´ and concerned citizens from the US and Nepal in one forum to discuss on the recent developments in engineering, science and technology and their impact in the society, said the statement. [break] The professionals will also get to mingle with each other via ´Networking Mixer´.
The main purpose of the networking mixture is to bring Nepali business owner, entrepreneurs, and US business owner and entrepreneurs together at one place to network, mingle, share ideas and discuss potential projects, according to the statement.
The conference will have different themes like earthquake preparedness and disaster relief in Nepal, advances in infrastructure analysis, design, monitoring and sustainability; engineering problems and solutions, application of scientific and engineering technologies into practice (knowledge share), sustainability, alternative and renewable energy, clean-technology, information technology and its role in the society, robust design and construction practices, recent advances in research and development in engineering and technology, technology, youth and innovation.
More than 100 participants are expected to attend the conference.
