KATHMANDU, April 3: An international organization has started a campaign for incorporating child rights in the new constitution of Nepal. The International Institute of Child (IIC), which is working for the cause of children across the world, has started the campaign by holding meetings with members of Constituent Assembly (CA), media persons and members of non-government organizations working for child rights in Nepal. Vice-Chair of United Nations Child Rights Convention (UNCRC) Jean Zermatten is in Kathmandu to initiate discussions with concerned stakeholders in Nepal. He has already held discussions with members of CA and members of NGOs working for the cause of children in Nepal. On Friday, he held discussions with children from various child clubs in Kathmandu Valley to learn their experiences.
