Anisha wins the title of Dopper Changemaker 2019
According to a press statement released by Blinc Venture, Dopper Changemaker 2019 in Nepal is here to support students implement their thesis or graduation project on two major environmental issues: Water and/or plastic pollution. Dopper is a social enterprise from the Netherlands, introduced the Dopper Changemaker Challenge 2019 in Nepal.
The international competition helps kick-start the careers of graduates, with a funding support ranging from cash prize of Rs two hundred thousand to the first place winner and the title Dopper Changemaker 2019. Additionally, Rs one hundred twenty-five thousand to the second and third place winners and 75 thousand rupees each to the rest of the winners in top 10 will be rewarded.
Diverse types of researches, from recycling technologies or water filtration or research with outcomes to start a business or campaign, can apply to the competition. The partners for the competition are SmartPaani, CERAD at Kings College and Blinc Ventures.
The application will be evaluated on impact, innovation and value. Furthermore, to take their research and graduation project to the next level, the finalists get an opportunity to pitch their thesis or graduation project in front of a panel of inspiring judges, network introduction to established partners and PR support as per the press statement.
