SURKHET, Oct 19: Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet has said that Prime Minister has the right to reshuffle the cabinet as per the need.
Speaking at a press meet at Surkhet Airport on Saturday, Minister Basnet clarified that PM can decide upon the restructuring of the cabinet. “Reshuffling the Council of Ministers largely depends on the prime minister and his willingness,” he said ruling out the possibility of change of guard at present.

On a different note, Basnet committed to including Karnali province into the mainstream of development. “This year will primarily be focused on socio-economic development, therefore, I urge one and all to contribute for the development of Karnali,” said he.
He further added that development works will be expedited as the government has prioritized economic development and formation of structures. On the occasion, he also committed to intensifying the construction works of Surkhet Airport. Similarly, he assured the locals of solving the problems of flood-affected people at the earliest.
