Cabinet meeting approves PM Dahal’s upcoming Italy visit

KATHMANDU, July 19: A Cabinet meeting held this morning has approved the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to Italy.

KATHMANDU, July 19: A Cabinet meeting held this morning has approved the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to Italy on coming Saturday.


After the meeting, government spokesperson Rekha Sharma said that a delegation led by PM Dahal is going to Italy to participate in the 2023 United Nations Food System Stocking Moment, which will be held at the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations headquarters in Italy.

Sharma, who is also the Minister for Communication and Information Technology, said that Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Bedu Ram Bhusal is also in the delegation.


PM Dahal is scheduled to leave for Italy in the evening of July 22 and return to Nepal after a week.


Today's Council of Ministers’ meeting decided to waive fees and charges for company registration and capital increase.


Likewise, the Cabinet has also decided to appoint Rabi Malla, a doctor from Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center, as a member of the management committee of the same hospital.
