CAB defend title

KATHMANDU, May 22: College of Applied Business (CAB) defeated Kathford College to defend their Inter-BBA Cricket title.



Winning the toss, Kathford chose to bat first and were bundled to 55 runs in 15 overs. Opener Rabin Poudyal (15) was the highest scorer for Kathford. [break]



Man of the match Alok Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for CAB as he claimed four wickets in two overs conceding just seven runs. Rishi Yadav and Puspa Sharma bagged two wickets each.



Defending champions CAB chased down the target in just 8.5 overs losing two wickets. Opener Barun Ghimire scored 23 runs. Ganesh Joshi and Abhishek Shah were the wicket takers for Kathford.



CAB´s Sandesh Gartaula was adjudged Best Batsman while Abhishek Jha of Kathford was adjudged Best Bowler. CAB´s Barun Ghimere was adjudged man of the series.
