KATHMANDU, Aug 11: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has appointed Prabhakar Chandra Mallik as the chief of flight safety. With over 15 years in the aviation sector, Mallik’s new role was confirmed by CAAN on Friday.

“He has a long-standing commitment to aviation security. He has made positive contributions to CAAN's aviation security department," said Hansa Raj Pandey, spokesperson for CAAN.
Since 2007, Mallik has served at CAAN from the seventh level and holds a notable background as an aeronautical engineer with Cosmic Air, Sita Air, and Emirates Airlines. He is certified to work on various aircraft, including the Airbus A320 and A330.
