CG launches Dashain scheme
KATHMANDU: CG Electronics has launched a festive scheme named ´CG Dashain Kharcha´. According to a press statement issued by the company, under this scheme, customers buying CG electronics will get a coupon through which two lucky buyers will win Rs 50,000 every week. Winners of Real School of Nepal-2012
KATHMANDU: Winners for ´Real School of Nepal-2012´-- a national level competition organized by Real fruit juice concluded on Tuesday. According to a press statement issued by the company, Ideal Model Higher Secondary School from Lalitpur became the winner of the contest.
Similarly, Eureka Residential Higher Secondary School from Dharan and Sainik Awashiya Mahavidayala from Bhaktapur became the first and second runners up respectively. “We would like to congratulate all the winner schools and thank all participating schools. We have indeed been successful in providing the platform that the students need to hone their talents,” said Abhaya Pd. Gorkhalee, head of marketing at Dabur Nepal.
The competition which was launched on August 2 was held in eastern, western, and central regions said the statement. All the participating schools competed in the regional finals and the regional champions then competed in the grand finale which was held on Tuesday in the capital, added the statement.
New Samsung Smartphone Cafes
KATHMANDU: Samsung Mobile has started operations of its third, fourth and fifth Smartphone Cafés in Butwal, Narayanghat and Dang respectively. According to a press statement issued by the company, Deepak Malhotra, chairman of International Marketing Services -- the authorized dealer of Samsung Mobile -- inaugurated the new showrooms on Wednesday. The company plans to open 50 smartphone cafes in the near future. The showrooms feature smartphones priced between Rs 12,000 and Rs 69,000. International Market Services is giving away surprise gifts to customers to celebrate the opening of the new smartphone cafes, according to the statement.
Special scheme on Kelvinator refrigerators
KATHMANDU: EOL, a subsidiary of Chaudhary Group, on Wednesday launched a special consumer scheme, "Refreshing Dashain and Tihar", on Kelvinator refrigerators for the festive season. Issuing a press statement, the company said that the scheme was launched in a bid to make this Dashain and Tihar joyful to the customers.
