Bhaskar Herbaceutials receives WHO-GMP certification
KATHMANDU: Bhaskar Herbaceuticals has been certified with the global standard of World Health Organization- Good Manufacturing Practices (WHO-GMP), a press statement of the company said. The WHO-GMP certification is a must for drug producers. The company produces around 50 different kinds of auyurvedic medicines in the form of tablets, capsules, powder, oral liquid and medicated oil.
According to the statement, the company procures raw materials from inside the country itself and imports only those materials from other countries which are not available in the country. The Parsa-based company is in business since 2010.
Ertiga named ´Family Car of the Year´
KATHMANDU: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been named the ´Family Car of The Year 2012´ by BBC Top Gear India. According to a press statement issued by CG automobiles -- the sole authorized dealer of Maruti Suzuki vehicles for Nepal, Ertiga has been highly appreciated for its compact design, high fuel efficiency and light control which altogether make the compact utility vehicle an ideal family car. "With its 3-row seating configuration in a compact overall design, the Ertiga has been chosen for the title for creating an altogether new ´compact MPV´ segment in the automobile industry," said the statement. Launched in April this year, Ertiga marks Suzuki´s entry into the utility vehicle segment in Indian automobile industry. CG Automobile has already launched Ertiga in Nepal.
